Hibiscus tea is refreshing and cold. It reduces the feeling of thirst, it’s antipyretic and it reduces cholesterol, hypertension (high blood pressure). It helps with stomach problems, arthritis, heart problems, with liver disorders and kidney problems. It activates the metabolism, contributes to good hair health and prevents hair loss. How to brew Hibiscus tea - Dried leaves of Hibiscus:
Put one teaspoonful of dried Hibiscus into a warmed teapot or small casserole.
Add 250 ml (1 glass) of boiling water and boil for 10-15 minutes.
Separate from the leaves and drink hot or warm. Remaining leaves could be eaten.
Recommended consumption for adults: 200 ml 3 times daily 30 min before meals, for 3 weeks. Repeat after 2 weeks break.
Tip: Tea efficiency is much higher when distilled/purified water is used.
